Attuned Intellect

You trained to help people. Not to fight your notes.

A free weekly newsletter that shows therapists how to use AI — safely — to win back the hours you lose to documentation: notes, treatment plans, insurance language, the parent inbox. One idea and one copy-paste workflow every week. Client-data-free by design. No tech background required.

Free forever. Client-data-free by design. Unsubscribe anytime.

The one line we never cross: client data never goes into AI.

Sound familiar?

It's 7:15 on a Thursday, and you still have five notes to write.

You know the feeling. The work you trained for — the session, the person in the room — buried under the documentation that follows it home. Progress notes, treatment plans, the insurance language, the email you've rewritten five times. The part of the job that matters most keeps stealing the hours meant for your own life.

Drowning in documentation

Notes, treatment plans, medical-necessity language, the parent inbox. The admin load grows every year, and it rides home with you on the evenings and weekends you'll never get back.

Nervous about AI

You've heard AI could help. But is it safe? What about client privacy — HIPAA, or FERPA on the school side? And honestly — where would you even start?

Attuned Intellect meets you right there. Real workflows you can use this week — client-data-free by design.

Every issue

One idea. One prompt. Ready to use this week.

No jargon, no 40-tab rabbit holes. Each issue is short on purpose and built around a single thing you can actually put to work between sessions.

A time-saving workflow

One specific way to put AI to work on a real clinical task — progress notes, treatment plans, psychoeducation handouts, insurance and appeals language.

A copy-paste prompt

Tested wording you drop straight into the tool. No prompt-writing skills, no guesswork — just a strong first draft to edit.

The safe method, every time

How to work de-identified — no names, no PHI, nothing that could point to a real client — so AI helps with wording and structure while the specifics stay in your EHR and your own secure systems.

The line we never cross

Client data never goes into AI. Ever.

This isn't fine print. It's the whole point. The AI only ever sees generic, de-identified drafts you write yourself — no names, and nothing that could point to a real client: not the diagnosis, not the setting, not the detail that gives them away. The real specifics go in later, by you, in your own secure systems — your EHR, your own email.

The move is simple: write it generic, let AI help with the wording and structure, then add the real specifics back yourself. Never scrub a real client's record and paste it in. If a shortcut can't be done that way, we don't publish it.

Your license and your setting come first. Follow your board, your employer, and your state's policy — especially on AI use. HIPAA governs the private-practice side; FERPA governs the school side; both point to the same habit. Check your own rules before you try anything you read here.

Start with the weekly email — that's the heart of it, and it costs nothing. When you're ready to go deeper, small, practical tools are on the way.

In the works

The Therapist Prompt Pack

A set of ready-to-use, client-data-free templates for the writing that eats your time most — progress notes, treatment plans, medical-necessity language, psychoeducation handouts — built to the same safety standard as everything here. It's in the works. Join the list and you'll be first to hear when it's ready.

You'll join the newsletter too — and I'll flag you the moment the Prompt Pack ships.

Shaun, who builds the AI workflows behind Attuned Intellect

Who's behind this

Hi, I'm Shaun.

I'm not a therapist — I'll say that plainly. I built the special-education version of this, Awakened Intellect, after I started using AI to claw back my own time from a mountain of paperwork. Then therapists kept telling me they wanted the same thing: the documentation is heavier, the privacy stakes are higher, and nobody was showing them a safe way in.

So I built Attuned Intellect for them. I'm the maker — I build the AI workflows and pressure-test them, and I keep myself honest by having practicing therapists review the clinical reality, so what lands in your inbox fits the work you actually do. You bring the clinical judgment; I bring a safe, practical way to use the tool.

(For the record: a computer science degree, an MBA, a specialist degree in educational leadership, and a set of Oracle AI certifications — enough to take AI seriously. I'm the person who builds the workflow, not the clinician who signs the note.)
